In the north it reaches up to the mountain where the "Cliff View" part is located. At the beach and on the hill you will find swimming pools. The lower pool is located in front of the "Sea View Poolside" rooms, the newer "Infinity Pool" was built on the hill. From there you have an outstanding view to the sea and the islands in front of the coast.     At the beach of Koh Chang Cliff Beach Resort (October 2009)   In the garden at the beach (April 2005)   The beach in front of Koh Chang Cliff Beach Resort is one of the nicest parts of whole Kai Bae Beach. At the beach the guests will find beach chairs and parasols as well as at the swimming pools. In the restaurant located directly at the beach Thai specialities, Chinese and European dishes are served. Also barbecue and fresh seafood is available.     The "Lotus Pond" in the tropical garden of Koh Chang Cliff Beach Resort (left April 2005, right October 2009)     In the well-kept tropical garden of the resort is the big "Lotus Pond". Wooden footbridges lead to the buildings and to the beach. The "Lotus Family Bungalows" are located around the beautiful pond with the lotus flowers. Kayaks, mountain bikes and snorkelling equipment can be rented and boat- and sailing tours can be booked at the Koh Chang Cliff Beach Resort as well as all kind of tours and activities on Koh Chang.   The Koh Chang Cliff Beach Resort has about 50 guest rooms, the villas, bungalows and rooms are located either on the rocks close to the "Infinity Pool" ("Cliff View", "Thai House", "5 Bedroom Villa"), behind the lower swimming pool ("Sea View Poolside"), in the garden ("Lotus Family Bungalows") or in the nearby village ("Mandalay").   At the "Infinity Pool" (July 2009) The "Lotus Family Bungalows" (Oct. 2009)   All guest rooms, bungalows and villas are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, fridge, a twin double bed or a king size double bed and a bathroom with hot shower or bathtub. Moreover all rooms have a balcony or terrace with seats, partly also sun chairs and parasols. Arrival to Koh Chang Cliff Beach Resort: From the piers you will reach Koh Chang Cliff Beach Resort at Kai Bae Beach by pickup taxi within 30 - 45 minutes. The beach from the "Beach Villa" (October 2009) Please let the taxi driver know the name of Koh Chang Cliff Beach Resort before starting, or get him to stop by knocking on the car-body (the entrance of Koh Chang Cliff Beach Resort is located directly at the right hand side of the street and is easy to find). If you arrive by airplane from Bangkok you can take a minibus waiting at Trat airport that will bring you directly to Koh Chang Cliff Beach Resort.
