Bhumiyama is a combined word: "Bhumi
(poom)” means land or place, "yama” is a
realm of heavens in Buddhism
where deities and beings who have accomplished noble
deeds come to dwell in opulent peace and tranquility.
Bhumiyama Beach Resort
is located at the beach and is beautifully integraten into
a generous, well-kept tropical garden. Directly behind the
resort, the first jungle-covered mountains with its diverse
flora and fauna rise. |

The 46 rooms of the Bhumiyama
Beach Resort are all build in the garden
around the big swimming pool.
They are either located in the 2 hotel
buildings or in the detached 2-story bungalows.

All rooms are stylishly furnished with air conditioning, TV,
bathrooms with hot water-shower, separated bathtub and European
toilet, refrigerator with mini-bar and personal safe. |

There is a big restaurant with
2 storeys where Thai and European dishes are served as well
as Seafood specialties. And you will also find a conference
room at the Bhumiyama Beach
Resort.
The small village of Lonely
Beach can be reached within a few minutes walk.
There you will find numerous stores, an air-conditioned supermarket,
several restaurants and some small bars.

Since a while in the adjoining resort a techno party takes place once a week. So the guests of Bhumiyama Beach Resort should be aware that it can be quite loud that night.
Arrival to Bhumiyama

From the piers you will reach Bhumiyama
Beach Resort at Lonely
Beach by pickup taxi within about 1 hour.
Please let the taxi driver know the name of Bhumiyama
Beach Resort before starting, or get
him to stop by knocking on the car-body (the restaurant of
Bhumiyama Beach Resort
is located directly at the road and is easy to find).
If you arrive by airplane from Bangkok
you can take a minibus waiting at Trat airport that will bring
you directly to Bhumiyama
Beach Resort.
Please ask at the pier or the airport for the prices of the
pickup taxis and / or minibuses.
