IV))   About us / Contact    Current Thailand Weather     Sitemap       Compare: We <--> Others        The "superior Wing” with rooms of category I and II   In the gardens of the "Deluxe Wing" with the villas of the categories III, IV and V   The Koh Chang Tropicana Resort & Spa offers 156 rooms, villas and suites in two wings for its guests: the "Superior Wing" in the eastern part where the hotel buildings were built around the Swimming pool "The Splash". Here the "Superior Rooms" (cat. I) and the "Superior Plus Rooms" (cat. II) are located. Towards the beach in the West is the "Deluxe Wing”. Here are the "Deluxe Villas" (cat. III), the "Grande Deluxe Villas" (cat. IV) and the "Suites" (cat. V). All rooms come with an air conditioner, a sofa or day-bed with a table, desk with chair, a chest of drawers, refrigerator with mini-bar, wardrobe, coffee and tea making facilities, private in-room safe, telephone, TV set with satellite signals, bathroom with toilet, hot-water shower and a bathtub (apart from category III). They are about 32 m² in size and all have a picture window and a balcony with seats. There are also some with a connecting door to the neighbouring room.           The balcony   The bathroom In the interior of a "Superior Room" (upper storey) Category II – Superior Plus Rooms These 20 "Superior Plus Rooms” are also located in the two storeys of the hotel buildings. They are a bit larger than the previous ones with a total of 36 m², otherwise they are the same. In addition they are furnished with a comfortable rattan armchair with a footrest. Here too are some with a connecting door to the neighbouring room.     On the balcony of "Superior Plus Room   In the interior       Category III – Deluxe Villa   The outside view of a "Deluxe Villa"   In the interior   The 50 rooms of the "Deluxe Villa" category are located in the 25 double villas in the western "Deluxe Wing" of the Koh Chang Tropicana Resort & Spa. They are in the generous gardens, framed by tropical plants, and are with 48 m² noticeably larger than the "Superior Rooms" and the "Superior Plus Rooms". All of them come with an Internet connection and instead of a bathtub they have a "rain shower" behind the bathroom (please see middle picture below). They all have a spacious terrace with seats. 4 of them have a nice sea view; surcharge for that is 1100 THB per night.     View from the terrace The bathroom Category IV– Grande Deluxe Villa   The 18 "Grande Deluxe Villas" are also in the tropical garden of the western "Deluxe Wings". These are without exception detached bungalows and with more than 50 m² a little larger than the rooms in the "Deluxe Villas". There is also an Internet connection next to the standard equipment. Furthermore there is a second private little terrace with seats. The 54 m² are divided up into 2 rooms plus a spacious bathroom. Besides the standard features an Internet connection is available, moreover there are two sofas each with tables. There is also a sauna in the generous bathroom besides the bathtub.
