It is located directly at the beach and is the resort with the biggest proportions at the whole beach. The northern part of Lonely Beach is the most beautiful part and most suitable for swimming. The beach dips relatively steep into the sea and there are no stones on the ground, so getting into the water is easy. Also swimming at low tide isn’t a problem there. Directly behind the Siam Beach Resort, after the road, the first jungle-covered mountains with its diverse flora and fauna rise.   The swimming pool (Dec. 2007)   The hotel buildings A and B (Dec. 2007) In the southern part of the Siam Beach Resort you’ll find the hotel buildings A (Cat. II, opened 2005) and B (Cat. III, opened 2007). On the other side of the restaurant, in the north of the resort, the new built hotel buildings C and D (Cat. III - V) and the "Pool Villas” (Cat. VI) are located, which were all opened in 2007.   In front of the hotel buildings A and B the beautiful swimming pool with it’s parasols and beach chairs is situated. It was built directly at the beach so it offers a breathtaking view to the open sea and the islands located in the north.   In front of the hotel buildings C and D (July 2008)   Parts of the buildings C and D and some "Pool Villas” (Dec. 2007)   The northern part of the Siam Beach Resort spreads to the slope behind. On the slope, the 2001 built Hillside Bungalows (Cat. I) are located. Behind the breakfast building, the hotel buildings C and D and the "Pool Villas” are located. In front of the buildings there is a big sandy area so even at high water level you’ll find enough space to relax directly at the beach.   The open restaurant, where you can order Thai specialities and some European dishes as well as fresh seafood, is situated just a few metres from the swimming pool and the beach. In addition there is the beach barbecue in the evening where you can order freshly grilled specialities. Directly at the beach the "Sweet Beach Bar” was built, where you can enjoy chilled drinks, long drinks and exotic cocktails. There the "fire-juggler” perform their amazing fire-shows in the evening, but the bar is not only at sunset and the later hours a popular meeting point for everybody on the beach.   The restaurant (May 2006) At the "Sweet Beach Bar” (Dec. 2007)   All rooms (except the Hillside Bungalows: read the table below for more information) of the Siam Beach Resort are equipped with air conditioning, refrigerator, colour television, bathroom with separate hot water shower and European toilet (more information in the table below). All rooms have large balconies where you have a wonderful view to the beach, the sea with the islands located in the north and partly to the swimming pool. All hotel buildings have 2 storeys, the rooms in the ground floors can be reached directly from the beach, so they are a good choice for families with children and elder or handicapped guests. Except for the Categories I, II and the "Pool Villas” you can choose if you prefer a room with one large double bed or 2 single beds.   The restaurant of the Siam Beach Resort (May 2006) In the garden (May 2006) Besides massages that are offered directly at the beach, you can rent kayaks to explore the beach and the islands on your own. There is an internet-café located at Siam Beach Resort and you’ll also find a diving centre where all kind of trips and courses from all-day-snorkel-trips up to a full 40 days dive master course can be booked. The small village of Lonely Beach can be reached within a walk of about 15 to 20 minutes (think about a torch). There you will find several restaurants and small bars, numerous stores and an air-conditioned supermarkets.     The swimming pool of the Siam Beach Resort (May 2006) The breakfast building (Dec. 2007) In front of the restaurant (May 2006) Arrival to the Siam Beach Resort: From the piers you will reach the Siam Beach Resort at Lonely Beach by pickup taxi within about 1 hour. Please let the taxi driver know the name of the Siam Beach Resort before starting, or get him to stop by knocking on the car-body (the car park of the Siam Beach Resort is located directly at the road and is easy to find). If you arrive by airplane from Bangkok you can take a minibus waiting at Trat airport that will bring you directly to the Siam Beach Resort. Please ask at the pier or the airport for the prices of the pickup taxis and / or minibuses.
