It is one of the largest hotel complexes on Koh Chang, which extends on approx. 500 m of length on the beach. The beach works shallowly into the water as everywhere else, however differently than to many other places without stones or numb corals.   The large swimming pool in the south of the KC Grande Resort   At the northern swimming pool of the KC Grande Resort   In the west the KC Grande Resort is delimited by the sea and the beach while in the east by the mountains rising steeply, covered with a tropical rain forest. In 2008 and 2009 new hotel buildings like the big swimming pool, the large lobby and the most exclusive spa were built. Moreover, there still is the smaller swimming pool in the north.     At the northern beach section in front of the "Sea View Superior Bungalows" A pavilion in the tropical garden at the "Garden View Superior Villas"   Directly at the beach, here are the "Sea View Superior Bungalows" (category I) and the "Beach Front Deluxe Villas" (category IV). In the rampant yet cultivated garden that stretches far to the north, you’ll find the "Garden View Superior Villas" (category II). The other 3 room categories "Garden View Deluxe" (category III), "Sea View Grande Deluxe" (category V) and "Sea View Grande Suite" (category VI) are all found in the new hotel buildings, either behind the swimming pool or directly at the tropical garden.   The lobby and on the right the beach pavilion of the KC Grande Resorts   In the beach pavilion of the KC Grande Resorts Besides the luxurious Spa building with sauna and "Bodiwork Café", the large, comfortable lobby, the bungalows, villas and hotel buildings, KC Grande Resort has a well equipped gym just behind the large swimming pool.   Next to the large lobby is a beautiful pavilion right at the beach, where you can chill out wonderfully.     The large swimming pool with slide and the "Sea Turtle Pool Bar” in the south of the KC Grande Resort Towels are provided at both swimming pools and of course there are also beach couches and parasols available for the guests of the KC Grande Resort & Spa. A whirlpool also got built-in next to a generous child basin with the "Turtle Slide” in the new swimming pool at the south side of the resort. The pool lies directly by the sea with the "Sea Turtle Pool Bar" directly in the basin, so that one can - sitting in the water – enjoy whatever the bar has to offer, while watching the White Sands beach.   On the left the meeting building, on the right the entry with the lobby in the background   Right at the main road lays the large, well equipped meeting building for up to 300 persons. In the large lobby daily current newspapers are displayed, the tables are provided with supply points so that the guests can use the Wi-Fi Internet in a comfortable atmosphere with their own laptop computers. There all types of excursions on and around Koh Chang can be booked besides the transfers to the piers or to the airport.   The "Beach Restaurant" The White Sands Beach in front of the KC Grande Resort as viewed to the North   Next to the "Sea Turtle Pool Bar" is the "Beach Restaurant", where Thai, European and fresh seafood specialities can be enjoyed with a fantastic sea view. In the evening, moreover, many dainties are offered freshly from the grill. At the southern end of the resort just between main road and beach is the two-storey place "K-Horizon Pub and Restaurant". Until late at night Mediterranean specialities are served here at live music. A wide range of drinks is served here and the cocktails are delicious.     In a pavilion on one of the 4 ponds in the tropical garden The Bodiwork & Spa building of the KC Grande Resort   There is also the "Coffee Corner", where all kinds of coffees are served besides a large selection of ice-creams and sandwiches. Altogether there are 4 little ponds in the spacious, tropical gardens on which pavilions were built. You can read, talk or just relax in a comfortable atmosphere there.   The parking lot   The "Spirit House" A big car park lies behind the two hotel complexes on the beach, ideal for guests who arrive with a vehicle of their own. The "Spirit House" ("San Phra Phum") which serves as a new home for the spirits who were "driven away" of their original place because of the buildings also stands there. The ground plan with all room categories and facilities of the KC Grande Resorts   Arrival to KC Grande Resort: From the piers you will reach KC Grande Resort at White Sand Beach by pickup taxi within 20 - 30 minutes. Please let the taxi driver know the name of KC Grande Resort before starting, or get him to stop by knocking on the car-body (the entrance of KC Grande Resort is is just next to the first 7/11 after the road climbed down the mountains and reaches the beach). If you arrive by airplane from Bangkok you can take a minibus waiting at Trat airport that will bring you directly to KC Grande Resort. Please ask at the pier or the airport for the prices of the pickup taxis and / or minibuses.
