Bai Lan Bay Resort lies in the middle one. All beaches around the resort are rocky, therefore only suitable for swimming at high tide during the winter months. The bungalow resort is situated directly at the beach and it reaches the street at the hill in the back.     At the sea at Bai Lan Bay Resort From the restaurant of Bai Lan Bay Resorts down to the sea   20 - 25 detached bungalows are built of wood and covered with the typical Thai palm roofs. They are built on stilts and spread in the well-kept garden from the beach up to the hill. Because of the slope many of the bungalows in the back stand on high stakes so they mostly offer a wonderful view over Bai Lan Bay. All bungalows are equipped with 2 big mattresses, fan and have own bathrooms with European toilets and hot showers.   The restaurant of Bai Lan Bay Resort is located close to the road at the hill and offers a breath-taking view over the southern part of Bai Lan Bay. Beside Thai dishes you can get European breakfast and some „Farang dishes”. Arrival to Bai Lan Bay Resort: From the piers you will reach Bai Lan Bay Resort at Bai Lan Beach by pickup taxi within about 1 hour.     Please let the taxi driver know the name of Bai Lan Bay Resort before starting, or get him to stop by knocking on the car-body (the restaurant of Bai Lan Bay Resort is located directly at the road and is easy to find). If you arrive by airplane from Bangkok you can take a minibus waiting at Trat airport that will bring you directly to Bai Lan Bay Resort. Please ask at the pier or the airport for the prices of the pickup taxis and / or minibuses.
